Seth is one of those rare, gifted individuals who has risen to the top of his field without much formal training. After a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, he took a job processing insurance claims on the late shift. In 1998, he and his wife were expecting their first of four children and he threw together a web site to share the joy with family and friends. His fellow insurance agents caught wind, and he was pulled into nascent company web efforts. He was soon drafted to do design and coding at a start-up, then booked stints at Microsoft and several Seattle creative agencies before settling in as an Interactive Art Director at ZAAZ. He has worked on interactive projects for Converse, Sony, Microsoft, Mactopia, Nike, Horny Toad, Nau, and The University of Washington, both at ZAAZ and as a successful freelancer before deciding to move to Bozeman to join the MERCURYcsc team. His family comes first, followed by hiking, rock climbing, and long walks on secluded mountainous landscapes. He makes a mean wooden jewelry box from time to time, speaks fluent Spanish and horrible Swedish, and once won a trophy for throwing tomahawks. Seriously. Don’t mess with him.
